Mrs. Almeta Woodard Gaston 98, Transitioned from this earthly life on Monday May 30,2022 at her resident.
She was born on November 15,1923, in Forsyth County to the late Richard and Lucille Woodard. She was well- known in the Castle Heights Community. She was loved by everyone she came in contact with.
Mrs. Gaston loved to work in the garden and loved to cook. in her early age she work as a Domestic worker taking of elderly people and children's. she lived in Winston Salem all life. She loved listening to
1340am gospel radio station every day. Along with her parents , Mrs. Almeta Woodard Gaston, was preceded in death with One Sister, Queen Ester Robinson Jones, Four Brothers, Raymond Woodard, Carl T.
Woodard, Aldine Woodard, and Eugene Woodard. And a Host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A very Dear Devoted care giver for over 7 years Ms. Faye Etta Hooper along with Tasha Pinet, Dorothy Moton &
Telecia Lewis. The Family will like to Thank Forsyth Medical Center Pallative Care & Trellis Hospice Care and Shore Home Care Agency, NC. A public viewing will be held Friday June 3, 2022, from 1pm until 4pm at Douthit's. Graveside services will be held Saturday June 4, 2022, at 11:00am from Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
