Ms. Angela Lynette Brayboy, daughter of the late Jacqueline Ross Brayboy and Oscar (Betty) Brayboy of Kernersville, NC was born on May 2, 1968 and called to Eternal Life on Monday, July 20, 2020.
Ms. Brayboy was a graduate of East Forsyth High School. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church for many years until her health began to fail.
Angela was preceded in death by her mother, Jacqueline Brayboy; son, Cory Brayboy; aunt, Clotel Nesmith; grandmothers, Elizabeth Brayboy and Mamie Ross; two aunts, Brenda Ross and Antonio Watkins.
Angela is survived by her daughter, Brooke Brayboy, Winston Salem, NC; father, Oscar (Betty) Brayboy of Kernersville, NC; 3 grandchildren, Jaliyah, Jacory and Jakai Miller of Winston-Salem, NC; 2 half-sisters, Melita(Jason) Reaves of Southfield, MI and Dr. Tara Brayboy of Buford, GA; a half-brother, Jason (Tiffany) Brayboy of Lawrenceville, GA; aunts, Deborah Ross, Charlene Ross, Stephanie Ross, Tujuana Ross and Carolyn Ross all of Winston-Salem, NC, Dr. Shirley (Johnny) Moutry of Milwaukee, WI; Diana Caldwell of Indianapolis, IN; Kathy Brayboy Brown of Winston Salem, NC; uncles, Dennis (Genieve) Brayboy of Winston Salem, NC; a special devoted friend, Adrienna Hill of Winston-Salem, NC. She is further survived by a host of other relatives, families, and friends.
A private memorial will be at Douthit Funeral Home 515 Specialty Park Drive Winston Salem, NC on Monday, June 22,2020.
