Miss Armentrice Mae Abbitt was called home on January 1, 2021 to her loving Lord. She was born June 14, 1961 in Winston-Salem, N.C. to the late parents of Daniel and Lina Mae McClendon. Armentrice was a, long time resident of Piedmont Circle, where she was absolutely part of the
community. Armentice lovingly known as "RED BONE" loved family and friends and wasn't afraid to let you know it. To know her was to love her, whether you wanted to or not. She leaves to cherish her memory, her three children Joeseph (Jerrene) Abbitt, Armentice Abbitt, and Terrell VanHorne, eight grandchildren Niosha, Dezmonda, Troy, Emmanuel, Jairus, Jordan, Jaylen,
Mariah, and one great grandchild Briella, brothers Thurman Abbitt and Haywood Montgomery, and one sister Doris Abbitt, and a sister in love Elaine Montgomery. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, family, and
friends. A public viewing will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2021
from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. A private funeral services will be held Thursday, January 7, 2021. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
