On December 21, 2021, God in his infinite wisdom called Delano Fitzgerald Conrad to be with him. He passed following an extended illness. He was born April 26, 1969, in Winston-Salem, NC to Doris Fleming (Johnny). Gerald became a member of the Capernaum Church of Christ, Clemmons, NC at an early age. Gerald attended the Winston-Salem, Forsyth County Schools. He was a dedicated employee for McDonalds for many years and was an enthusiastic wrestling fan. Survivors include his loving parents, Doris and Johnny Fleming, his younger brother Joseph Conrad, nephew Joseph Badger and a great niece Peyton Stevenson. Gerald loved his extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Mr. Stanley Transou of Dream Makers, where Gerald resided for many years. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. A public viewing will be held Monday, December 27, 2021, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 28., 2021 at 12pm from Capernuam Church of Christ. The family will receive friend at 11:30am at the church. And interment will follow in church cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
