Ms. Flora Mae Lindsay, 75 died Thursday December 10th, 2020,
at the Danby House Assistant Living. She was born in Davidson County
on October 1st, 1945 to Emma and Albert Lindsay. She attended Dunbar
School, St. Delights Holiness Church, and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her Son Robert Lee Lindsay, her
Mother Emma Eller Lindsay and her Father Albert Clay Lindsay, her
Grandmother Lula Lindsay, her Sister Nancy Lindsay, her Brothers
Michael, Jerome, Palmer, James Clay, and a Son-in-law Ricky Leak.
She leaves to cherish her Daughter Betty Leak of Winston-Salem,
N, 2 Sons Richard Lindsay of Thomasville, NC and Roylee Lindsay of
Lexington, NC, 2 Brothers William Lindsay and Aldean Lindsay both of
Winston-Salem, NC, 5 Grandchildren Jaquay, Jonthon, Unterris,
Diamond and Kiera (Robin), 5 Great-grand Children, Serenity, Sanyiah,
Jacari, Kaden, and Khalileon, and a host of devoted nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends, and 1 devoted cousin Carolyn FordA public viewing will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. A private services will be held Thursday, December 17, 2020 and interment will follow in Saint Delights Church Cemetery in Midway. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
