Mrs. Gladys Suber Tunstel passed away on December 31, 2018 at The Oaks Nursing Home. She was born October 1, 1929 to the late Willie Suber and Vennie Suber in Winston Salem, NC. She was a homemaker most of her life and loved to cook. She leaves behind to cherish her son Robert Tunstel, Jr. (Verna) of Pfafftown, NC, daughters Lynn Tunstel of Clemmons, NC, Alisa Tunstel of Winston-Salem, NC, and Sisters Edna Maddox (Theodore), and Carolyn Brannon of Brockton, MA., 3 grandchildren, Robert Tunstel, III , Alana Tunstel and Tyler Jackson, six great children and a host of nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Douthit Funeral Services. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Tunstel may be viewed Friday, January 4, 2019 from 2pm-6pm at Douthit Funeral Services.
