Haywood D. Mclean a loving father, son and husband departed this life on October 9, 2024 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Haywood was born to Carrie little and the late Evans Mclean in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on August 12, 1965. Haywood attended carver High School, and later worked for bud's services. Haywood always had a passion for music. He enjoyed music so much that he would later become a DJ , where he later created the name of DJ HOLLYWOOD and hosted events in his mother's garage that he called the "Buttermilk Cave". He was an inspiration for many of the well known DJs that you will later love to hear on the radio today. He enjoyed listening to music, helping his mother around the house, cracking jokes, watching movies , spending time with his children, and going to goodwill with his late wife Christina Mclean.
Haywood married his late wife on August 16, 1998. They were together for 25 years and married for 23 years until her passing on February 11, 2021. His wife was his everything, aside from his mother and children. Now, the two are reunited and back together again.



Haywood was preceded in death by his twin brother Howard Mclean, and James "JT" Little, grandmother Viola and aunt Lou. He leaves to cherish his son, Haywood Richardson , 3 daughters; Shauntae Mclean (Valentine) Kajah; Jessica Smoot and Dianella Richardson. hismother; Carrie little, 1 Sister; Vickie Little, 2 brothers; Evans Mclean Jr ., and Little James Mclean. A Step daughter; Shawn Wright, stepson ,Wayne Wright, 13 grandchildren and a host of nieces ,nephews , cousins and Friends.
