Jaylen Amound Hough was 23 when he was called home unexpectedly to be with God on July 18, 2023. He was born to Annie Marie Searcy and Wallace Hough on January 15, 2000. Jaylen was a hardworking young man who dedicated his life to his family and making sure they were happy. He had a contagious smile and was always happy to share it. When he wasn't hard at work as a Warehouse Manager at Green Stream Recycling you could find him, with his family, playing his game, and listening to music.
He leaves his memories and legacy to his two sons Kmari and Zieyair Hough and his partner Jakayla Moore, his brothers Carlos Searcy, and Rico Hough, sisters Lashonda Searcy, Briana (Leon) Richmond, and Shannice Archie, His grandmother, Remonia (Willie) Grier, Grandfather Richard Searcy. His devoted niece Ariel Searcy who he loved dearly, A devoted aunt Angela (John) Keen, one devoted uncle Antonio Searcy, cousins that were more like brothers, Chistopher Snow, Donald Snow Jr., and Carlton Bonner, his best friends, Kenard, Keshawn Lamar, and Bysheen along with a host of other family members and friends.
Jaylen was a shining light, so loving, caring, and bright. He had a heart so pure and kind, A beautiful spirit that will never unwind. His smile could light up a room, that warmth never too dim or gloomy. Always respectful and gentle with ease, A son like him was a true blessing to seize. He gave so much love, without any measure and brought immense joy, that we all treasure. In his absence, we may shed tears, but know that we hold his memory dear. Jaylen, though you're gone, you will live on, Through the love and memories he has spawned. May he always be a shining light, A guiding star for us in the future night. Rest in peace, dear Jaylen, your kindness will live on and by and by. A public viewing will be held Wednesday July 26, 2023 from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Thursday July 27, 2023 at 12pm from Douthit's . The family will receive friends at 11:30am. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
