Mr. Jiovant'e grimes-Kelly affectionately known as "GG" was born in Winston Salem North Carolina on August 10, 1988, to Clement J. Kelly and Patricellia Reid. He was raised by clement and Angeleak Kelly. GG was educated in the Winston Salem Forsyth county public school system.

Professionally, GG worked with his father in private contracting. He was extremely skilled with his hands. Gg enjoys the arts, loved playing football and most of all was passionate Dallas Cowboys fan. Spiritually, he sought more knowledge and understanding of God.

Gg passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Baptist hospital. He was proceeded in death by his paternal great great grandmother Mrs. Elizabeth Dixon Odom, grandmother Jacqueline Dixon, grandfather Clement Kelly Sr. and cousin junior vanlue

Gg is Survived by his father Clement Kelly jr and wife Angelak Kelly. His maternal mother Patricellia Reid. Brothers: Kadeem Young-Kelly, Cartier Young, Dioshawn Hines, Desean Hines, Decorus Reid, Ricardo Reid, and Jeremiah Reid. Sisters: Corsay Kelly, Trinity Kelly, and Brianna Reid. His maternal grandmother Kaye Grimes. Aunt Lisa Dixon Vanlue and Sonita Grimes.

Gg leaves to cherish his memories children: Jiovant'e Jr, Davon, Damarquis, Zion, Jamari, Ja'Niyah, and Zamoni. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends who loved him dearly. A public viewing will be held Tuesday May 10, 2022, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 11, 2022, at 1pm from Douthit's. Family will receive friends at 12:30om. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
