To Kelly, Maurice, Candice, JB, and all who were blessed to know speak, listen, and be in the Apostle Kheim Goins life. Either for a long or short blessed tour of duty:
Your mom kept a garden, and it was a garden of the heart. She planted life lessons such as wisdom, knowledge, love, respect, and confidence; the love of Jesus and all He would do in transforming you through your belief, repentance, and forgiveness towards yourself and others. All of these were only a few of the seeds she planted within each of us, and the people she was led to share with or be around. Apostle Kheim, your mom, my best friend, a sister, Anointed Leader over my life appointed by the Almighty Jesus Christ over 33 ½ years ago. She planted all the good things that gave our lives a start naturally and spiritually. Apostle Kheim turned each of us into sunshine with her way of encouragement to move forward, dream and have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. By reading his holy word, living His holy word, and making choices to change our selfish ways and do it the Lord's way. She fostered and nurtured these seeds in each of us; even when it was a challenge to hear, bitter in our mouths to taste the truth, she shared when she pruned us back by the Lord's hand. She repotted us when we became too comfortable in the small, suffocating pot we were in. Her actions are diligence, commitment, love, discipline, and determination to not see anyone the Lord placed before her to stay ignorant to the word of God and the truth of His word was the self-confidence and esteem that was manifested in each of the seeds that she was given. Her first seeds were in her siblings growing up; then she became a wife, and continued to nurture the love, protection, and knowledge seeds in each of her children Kelly, Maurice, Candice, and her Armor Bearer and best friend Ms. P for 33 ½ years.
So, we are her garden, we are her legacy. Everyone she met and those that met her, were blessed in just knowing her. The word of the Lord shares, to be absent from the body is to be in the presence of the Lord. Know beyond the shadow of a doubt, that Kelly, Maurice, Candice, JB, Paula and all who know Apostle Kheim Goins, that she is sitting in the arms and presence of our Holy, Righteous, and Just King, Savior, Lord, Comforter and Friend. So, to my best friend, appointed head, covering, leader over my life here on this Earth plane. Rest in the arms of the Lord. You are missed, but we are at peace and know for certain you are with the Lord Jesus. Peace and Blessings to each of you who are blessed to be in the presence of this anointed, appointed Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ Kheim O. Goins.

A graveside services will be held Saturday January 6, 2023, at 11:00a.m. from Piedmont Memorial Gardens. There will be no public viewing. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
