Mamie L. Miller wife, mother grandmother and sister, our beloved has gained her wings. Born to Lee and Florence Porter. She preceded both in death. She is survived by her loving and supportive husband of 53 years, Rickie Miller, Sr., a son Rickie Jr. {Sheryl}, a daughter Tiffany R. Thomas and a stepdaughter LaTonya {Kenny} Martin. Six grandchildren Jelisa, Rickie III, Lloyd, Alania, Taji and Emani. In addition to 2 great grandchildren. Three sisters Vester Porter, Lola {Larry}Glenn, and Sheila Sales. One brother Harrison {Stephanie} Porter. Three sisters-in-laws Terita King {Micheal}, Chiquita Jones and Bridget Crawford. Three brothers-in-laws Terrance Miller, Darrell Miller {April} and Micheal King. Additionally, a host of nieces and nephews. To have known her was to love her. She was always who she was! Most people looked forward to her "witty" comebacks and laughable personality. She loved hard and genuine to everyone she met.
She was a homemaker, loved her tablet, and loved playing various computer games, coloring, cooking, and growing flowers. The Miller family wishes to THANK the caregivers at Village Care of King, and Novant Health. The Family would Most Especially like to Thank her Sister In Law –Bridget M. Crawford for her continued personal care during her most recent illness. The Miller family ask for your continued prayers during this time as Mamie shares her eternal life with the Lord.
