Mashika Rhodes was born July 2, 1984, to Darrell Peoples and the late Belinda Rhodes. She departed this life February 29, 2024. Mashika was a native of Winston Salem North Carolina where she graduated from Parkland High school class of 2002. After graduating she joined the workforce. She had a passion for cooking. Mashika was a very loving and caring person. She is Proceeded in Death by her grandparents Richard and Juanita Peoples and Jackie Rhodes and Oneida Davis.
Mashika Leaves behind her Three beautiful daughters Ashley Smith, Aaliyah Rhodes and Ashia Rhodes. Her father Darrell Peoples. Sisters Lakisha and Eugene Stewart and LaRhonda Rhodes and Kevin Gibson. Nieces Makiyah Parker, Ky'Mani Gibson. Nephews Jaylen Stewart Kazi Gibson Ja'mari Stewart. And a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will held Tuesday March 19, 2024, at 1pm at Douthit's. There will be no public viewing. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
