ANathaniel Fowler 78 of Winston Salem, NC, born in Wade Forest NC answered his call from God and was called home on September 27, 2023, at Forsyth Hospital.

Nathaniel Fowler was a devoted husband and father who loved the Lord and raised up his family in reverence of the Lord. He took great pride in taking care of his family. Nathaniel loved to go fishing and playing the guitar. He longed to teach his children and grandchildren how to play various musical instruments. He was dedicated and a hard worker who was well known in the community to be able to fix anything. He worked at RJ Reynolds for over 30 years in maintenance, until retirement.​

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mart and Elizabeth Daye Fowler, four brothers; James (Beatrice) Fowler, Payton Fowler, Luther Edward Fowler, Mart Fowler Jr and three sisters; Lizzy Mae Fowler, Patricia Wilson and Annie Coleman. He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife Linda Fowler and their six children: Nathaniel Fowler Jr, Lemont Fowler, Bryant (Katrina) Fowler, Derek Fowler, Brenita Fowler and Kenneth Fowler. Six grandchildren and two sisters in law, Phyllis Richardson and Carolyn Moser and a host of family and friends. public viewing will be held Thursday October 5, 2023, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Friday October 6, 2023, at 12:30pm from Douthit's and interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friend s at 12pm. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit's Funeral Services.
