Mrs. Pauline Wilhemina Wilds Skinner 85, a loving wife, mother, and friend departed this earthly life on Thursday December 30, 2021, to her new heavenly home. Mrs. Skinner was born July 25, 1936, in Darlington SC to Henry Rosevelt & Allene Bacote Wilds. Mrs. Skinner graduated from Rosenwald High School in Darlington County. Upon completion of high school Ms. Skinner moved to Winston-Salem NC. She worked for Export Leaf Tobacco Company for some time. Mrs. Skinner was a woman of many talents. She was a dedicated and certified seamstress with Montaldo's in downtown Winston-Salem. In her spare time Mrs. Skinner was a beautician who enjoyed doing her family and friends hair. Mrs. Skinner was an Usher on the Usher Board of Union Chapel Baptist Church. She loved her church dearly and was a faithful member until her health declined. Mrs. Skinner will forever be missed. She was proceeded by her both her parents Henry and Allene Wilds, her loving husband Nathaniel Skinner and her five sisters Ella May Wilds-Hannah, Corriene Francis, Anna Wilds-Green, Naomi Wilds-Jenkins, Flora Lee Patterson and two brothers James Henry Wilds and Butler Wilds. She leaves to cherish her memories her two sons Calvin Skinner, and Calvette Skinner. A sister-in-law Ella Skinner, brother-in-law Lucius Skinner and brother Ervin Williamson Sr. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and many friends. A public viewing will be held Thursday January 6, 2022, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 7, 2022, at 1pm from Douthit's and interment will follow in Gardens of Memory. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
