Sandra Kay Truesdale, affectionally know as Kay-Kay or just Mommy, 63 of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on October 31, 2020 at Novant Medical Center. She was born September 13,1957 to the late Sanders France and Helen East France. Sandra graduated from Parkland High School and continued her education at Forsyth Technical School where she studied Nursing. She was a Private Duty Nurse before her health kept her from it. Sandra was a former member of Phillips Chapel Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board, the Young Adult Choir and Hospitality Committee and then she later joined Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. Preceding her to their heavenly home was her Father Sanders France and brother Anthony Ray France, her husband, Michael Ray Truesdale and her sister-cousin Marcella Hatcher. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, Her dear mother Ms. Helen France, her oldest son Mr. Ricardo Miller Jr. (Kashmir) and her baby boy Mr. Jermelle Jeter (James, Jamel and Jeremiah), brother Mark Barnes, sister-cousins Patricia ( Butch ) Taylor, Shelby East, Palmie ( Floyd ) Dalton, Karen ( Tony ) Jones and Lynn ( Michael ) Smith, Aunt Mamye "Grey" France. Sandra leave to relish in her memory a special Granddaughter Taiyaana Thompson along with a host of cousins, stepchildren, adopted children, nieces and nephews. Kay was blessed to have a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she loved deeply and leaves to cherish in her memory. Her greatest joy was seeing her family happy. A public viewing will be held Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. A private funeral will be held Friday, November 6, 2020 at Douthit's.
