Sinica Jarrod Kendale Pouncey AKA "Snoop" & "Big Pun" was born Febuary 14,1977 to the late Cynthia "PADDY" Pouncey Wideman & the late Harvey"Glendale" Fletcher. Also preceeding his death was his God Father, Nathaniel "Naboo" Nash of Winston- Salem, NC. Sinica attended Mount Tabor High School. He later found his passion in serving people, and he became the Winston- Salem State University Dinning HallSupervisor for
over 10 years. Sinica unexpectantly transistioned from this life while sleeping, October 28th, 2023. Although his life became complicated with health problems, he still kept his spirits up and maintained a chilled disposition. Some may have known Snoop as a D.J., always making cd's or dvd's for his love ones, just like his mother. He loved to cook, also just like his mother. We could always count on Snoop to show up at the parties with a list full of music to have a good time. From old school to new school, he had it.He is survived by his godson Nehemiah; sisters Meji Pouncey, Michelle Fletcher, Kena Paul, Tameka Paul; and his brothers Brian Pouncey & Brandon Fletcher. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A public viewing will be held Friday, November 3, 2023, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral service will be held Saturday November 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from Douthit's. The family will receive friends at 10:30 a.m. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
