Mr. Wilbert Clyron Thompson, aka Cly, age 57, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Forsyth Hospital. He was born April 17, 1965, in Forsyth County. The son of the late Clyde Thompson and Sandra Shore.
Clyron was preceded in death by his parents, his loving and devoted grandparents' Samuel B. Shore and Rebekka Shore, and younger sister Johnetta Renee Cobbins.
Clyron also leaves behind four children: Jade Jackson, Terrion Thompson, Cody (Steven Cody), Antonio Ray, and Brittany Hackett. His
grandchildren and
Timothy Ellerie (brother), Sabrina Renee Thompson (sister), James Paige (brother).
Clyron was educated in Forsyth County's school system and graduated of Parkland Highschool class of 1984.
He later became an entrepreneur. He opened a reupholstery clinic and a mattress company. He was a die-hard Raiders fan. He loved
playing chess, dominoes, and taking his grandson to football practices. Clyron was a loving father, grandson, nephew, cousin, and Friends A public viewing will be held on Tuesday March 29, 2022, from 1pm until5pm at Douthit's. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday March 30, 2022, 12pm from Great Commission Community Church and interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
