On Thursday, 11th day of August 2022, our beloved Annie Lois Ray Frost, transitioned from Labor to Reward.

Affectionally known as Lois, Annie was born on April 18, 1940, in Fairmont, NC to the late Walter Ray, Sr. and late Charlotte Ray. She was educated in Robeson County School System. She worked for Smith Cleaners and A Cleaner World.

She was a lover of children. She even had a major hand in raising her own nieces, Cheryl, Sherri, & Necole; and nephew, Antonio Ray.

She was a lifelong, faithful, & dedicated member of the Second Calvary Missionary Baptist Church serving as a mother of the church, on the D. S. Stowe Adult Choir, & advisor to the Youth Choir. She attends services regularly until her health declined.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, Charlie Frost; Sisters, Rosa Lee Stephens, Sara Reatha Smith, & Betty Jean Tobe; Brothers, Walter Ray Jr., William Bill Ray, & John B. Ray.

Her memory will be forever remembered by her Niece, Shirley Ray, Carolyn Ingram & Tracie Ray, Angel Ray; Nephews, Ray Massey Jr., William Massey, Wayne (Erica) Ray & Gary Hairston, Great Nieces, Cheryl (Teron) Martin, & Nakeesha (Tavares) Vance, Necole Surles, Lakrishandae (Chyna) Ingram, Alexis Williams; Great Nephew, Antonio Ray & Veldon Ray and host of nieces & nephews; and other relatives and friends. P A public viewing will be held Thursday August 18, 2022, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Friday August 19, 2022, at 11:30am from Second Calvery Baptist Church and interment will follow in gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends at 11:00am.
