Anthony Shan Dowell was born August 31,1998 to his mother Tinay Ruffin and his father Anthony Dowell in Murfreesboro Tennessee
Anthony better known as Shan attended and graduated from Parkland High School in 2016. Afterwards he went through army basic training and AIT
Shan was a genuine, unselfish soul with an infectious smile, who was loved and adored by many.
He enjoyed the outdoors, be it snowboarding, skateboarding or his favorite sport basketball in which he would always quote "Bih I play overseas". He was very creative and inventive which led him to purse and venture into rug and bear making, on top of him being an artist and sculpture he enjoyed anime and cosplaying. But his greatest achievement was becoming a father to his beautiful daughter Addyson Amor Dowell. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents James and Kenzella Ruffin and paternal grandmother Linda Dowell. His as the oldest he is survived by his siblings Nyza Rorie, Chris Caldwell, Brandon Rorie, William Scott, Ava and Avery Ruffin, Key'lain wade, Anisah Dowell, Zavien Dowell.A public viewing will be held Friday November 18, 2022, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 19, 2022, at 12pm from National Guard,2000 Silas Creek Pkwy. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
