Barbara Jean Crumblin McCummings passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. She was born on June 23, 1938 to Robert and Marie Crumblin, Sr. She departed this life on December 12, 2017 at Novant Health, Forsyth Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude McCummings, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Turonne(Lawrence)Rucker; four sons, Claude (Cynthia), Guy, Victor and Reginald McCummings; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; one brother, Wallace(Nellie) Crumblin and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 1:00 pm from Galilee Baptist Church, with family visitation beginning at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The remains may be viewed on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 2pm-6pm at Douthit Funeral Services.
