Ms. Cecilia Ann Bracley was born to Shirley Blackburn and the late Charlie Bracley in Forsyth County, North Carolina on December 19, 1966. She attended the public schools of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County and graduated from Carver High School in 1986. For a brief period, she studied Interior Design at Fort Lauderdale Community College. She was formerly employed as a dietitian with the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System Cecilia was of the Baptist Faith and began her early Christian Education at Mount Zion Baptist Church where she maintained her membership throughout her life. "The Angels took Celia home" from Oak Forest Health and Rehabilitation Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on Monday, May 31, 2021, following an extended period illness. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandmothers, Mrs. Eula Matthews and Mrs. Candace Bracley. Survivors include her two sons, Rashaad and Ryan Bracley; her mother, Shirley Blackburn; brother, Ronnie (Felicia) Moore; sister, Charlene (Jerome) Sessoms; a special niece, Dr. Aja Moore-Duncan; former spouse, Jose' Martinez; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and great nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 7, 2021 at 1:30pm from Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Family will receive friends at 1pm. There will be no public viewing. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
