Ms. Chandra Denise Harris

Chandra D. Harris was a Brand and Marketing Strategist who partnered with CEOs, executives and solopreneurs to grow their personal and professional brands, humans-to-humans. She was able to successfully umbrella her talents and clients under her own unique brand, The CDH Group. The CDH Group is a boutique style firm that is your one stop shop for all things brand related. After spending nearly a decade in the sports & entertainment industry, she turned her focus to cultivating startups. Chandra knew what truly drove conversations, sustainability, and growth in the marketplace -and it’s not mastering the marketing flavor of the week - it is truly how well you connect with the heartbeat of the people you’re trying to help and communicate your services or brand. Chandra was privileged to work on two presidential campaigns, one with Grammy-award winner, Wyclef Jean, as he was running for the Presidency of Haiti. With that project, Chandra’s tasks were to help bridge the gap between politicians and religious community; additionally, helping his wife (Claudenette Jean) with school supplies for their foundation Yele Haiti. The second Presidential campaign she worked on was with Ben Kallah who at that time was running for the Presidency of the Congo. That campaign assignment was to bring school buses to the country of the Congo for public transportation. Those campaigns initiatives were a success and helped increase her network and work experience. Throughout the years, Chandra has had the pleasure of serving (managing) several talented musicians, i.e., Lisa McClendon, Floyd Mayweather, Aaron Hall, Keisha Cole, Chalmers “Spanky” Alford, Shameia Crawford, the original Harlem Globetrotters and Live Waves Inc. Her experiences in the music industry allowed her to understand branding and marketing on a whole new level; which led her to ex-heavyweight boxing champion, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad (trainer for TMT). There she was able to sharpen her eye for what corporations look for in a brand ambassador. As of recent, Chandra, was the face and backbone of a startup sustainability company that is set to take the world by storm with its responsibility message and products. With that company she was able to help position it as presenting sponsor at the BMI gifting suite, Luda Day Weekend, Rice Awards (GA), and shelf space on a number of retail outlets. The CDH Group’s slogan is “Building brands through vision, integrity, and relationships.” Chandra strived to provide that for every client and project she took on. Chandra leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Millicent Carter; her father, Charles E. Harris Sr.; her siblings, Roderick (Tracey) Carter, Charles E. Harris Jr., Ken Friend, Shaun’ta Harris and Whitney Faye Fulwood; and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial services will be held Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 12:30pm from Ambassador Cathedral. The will receive friends at 12:00 pm. There will be no public viewing. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
