Mr DeNorris Ronald Hayes was born July 16, 1968, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He departed his life on Sunday, October 26, 2025. He was a graduate of East Forsyth High School. He was employed at Johnson Control (Clarios LLC for 29 years. DeNorris was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather, and partner. He was a great friend to many. He was a very quiet person who loved to listen to his 90s music. He loved to watch sports and was a 49ers fan, spending his "me time" on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays to watch football. He was the son of the late Ronald Ross. He was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Hayes, and one aunt, Demetrius Turner, three great aunts, Julia Richardson, Airrie Long, and Mary Richardson, and one great uncle, Furney Richardson.

He is survived by his devoted partner of 32 years, Patricia Hall; daughters Leslie (Jacobey) Hayes of Walkertown and Mikeisha Petree of Winston-Salem; sons Denzel Hayes of Sacramento, CA, and Dnez Autrey of Winston-Salem. Mother Debra (Carl)Martin of Winston-Salem; sister, Pamela (Darryl) Moore of South Carolina; brother, Bernard Ross of Winston-Salem; grandchildren Ceyanna Hayes-Williams and De'ante Petree of New Jersey, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday December 6, 2025 at 12:00pm at St. John Baptist Church. There will be no public viewing. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
