Mr. Shawn Kelvin Sprinkle was born on September 27, 1967 in Yadkin County, NC to the late Cornelius "Bus" Speas and Brenda Sprinkle. He passed away after an extended illness on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. He attended the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools and was a 1985 graduate of North Forsyth High School.
Shawn is survived by his mother, Brenda Sprinkle; daughter, S'niqua Cremedy; granddaughters: Faith Wynn and Aa'Shia Wynn; grandsons: Rashan A. Wynn and Alijah T.D. Wynn; sisters: Camille Speas, Crystal (Dwight) Glenn, Camille Sprinkle, and April Sprinkle; aunt Rev. Belinda Harris; special friend Elizabeth Hairston Hauser; best friends Hope Moyer and Brian Miller; a loving crew of nieces and nephews, and a host of many other family members and great friends. A public viewing will be held Friday, April 23, 2021 from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 2pm from Center Grove A.M.E. Zion Church and interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1pm at the church. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
