Shirley Jean Underwood Fullard completed her assignment on earth Sunday, July 4, 2021, at Accordius Health in Clemmons, NC. Shirley 78, daughter of Stacey and Viola Underwood was born December 03, 1942, in Clinton, NC. She worked for Douglas Battery Manufacturer for 35 dedicated years. She was a faithful and active member of Stokesdale Church of God, where she worked in the nursery and on the hospitality team. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents. Shirley was also preceded in death by two brothers Doug and Charlie Underwood. Sister-in-law Margaret Underwood. Two sons Herbert Fullard III and David Fullard. Two son-in-law's Rev. Michael Linville and Michael Rowe and one great grandson Camden Linville. Shirley was married to the late Herbert Fullard II. Leaving to cherish precious memories her children, Reginald Fullard (of Goldsboro, NC), Beverly Rowe (of Kernersville, NC), Alfreda Fullard (of Clemmons, NC), Charlie Fullard, Shonia Linville (both of Winston-Salem, NC) and one stepson Jimmie Dixon (of Spartanburg, SC). One brother Leon (Lolita) Underwood (of Clinton, NC). One Daughter-in-law Mary Fullard (of Winston-Salem, NC). A special cousin known to her as a brother Earl (Nick) McLaurin (of Winston-Salem). Fifteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A public viewing will be held Friday, July 9, 2021 from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 1pm at Douthit's and interment will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown.
