Tatanisha "Nisha" Denay Jackson of Winston-Salem, NC departed this life unexpectedly on Saturday, June 13, 2020. She was born August 28, 1991 to Lashonda Crews and Ronald Jackson. Tatanisha grew up in Happy Hill Gardens and graduated from East Forsyth High School in 2009. She was a former employee of Novant Health System. Nisha was a great mother and a loving friend. She was preceded in death by her great grandmothers; Maggie L. Jackson and Barbara Crews, her grandfather Reginald Bailey, grandmother, Ophelia Jackson and her godfather Donald Graves. She is survived by her children Trevion Canty, Tavonti Jackson and Travonnia Jackson, her parents Ms. Lashonda Crews and Mr. Ronald Jackson, great grand mother Margaret Bailey, grandmothers Wanda Crews and Dreama Bailey. Her Sisters, Ardazia Crews, Shaquana Stevenson, Rashanita Allbrooks, Sabria Jackson, Ta'lontashia Harris and Taikira Richardson. Her brothers, Leonard Melton III, Jabriel Jackson, Hasaan Jackson, Ronald Jackson Jr. and Jabray Couthen, her aunt Chartina Crews, uncles Conrad Crews, Jamarus Crews and Orenthia Jackson and a host of other family members (Crews and Jacksons) and friends, Meka Mims, her godmother Jacqueline McKee and her best friend Tiffany Stone. A public viewing will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 from 2pm until 5pm at Douthit's. A private funeral service will take place Saturday, June 20, 2020.
