Mr. Travis Devon Nichols passed peacefully on
Tuesday, January 12th, 2021. He was born to the late
Jesstena Gayle Nichols on December 6th, 1981 in
Winston Salem, NC. Travis was educated by the
Winston Salem/Forsyth County School System and
later obtained his GED. He was a member of New
Bethel Baptist Church. Travis had a huge heart and a
love for his children, family, and anyone around
him. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jesstena
Gayle Nichols, and his grandparents Laura & James
C. Powell Jr. He is survived by his children, Erick
Fair, Laoni Meeks, and Treveon Mcintrye. He is also
survived by 4 siblings, Dwayne (Shara) Nichols,
Omarr (Tarsha) Nichols, Nicole Nichols, & Sherrod
Nichols. Also, one special uncle, (Reginald
(Annette) Nichols. Other siblings (Taleona (Kelvin)
Mayfield, Lashawnda & Natasha Washington, Anthony Harris, Anthony Baldwin, Lekendro Pollard,
and Darus Williams. He leaves behind a host of other family and friends. A private memorial will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021. There will be no public viewing. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
