    Mrs. Bernardine Anita Kelliehan

    April 2, 1946 - February 27, 2020

    Mrs. Bernardine Anita Kelliehan of Charlotte, transcended this life to be with the Lord at home. She was born on April 2, 1946 in Mount Kisco, New York to Wilhelmenia and William Watkins. She is preceded in death by her mother, Wilhelmenia Allen, her youngest brother, Alphonzo Allen, Jr., and her oldest son, Jerry Wesley Greenwood, Jr. She is survived by her husband Walter Kelliehan, Jr. As the oldest of four children, she is further survived by her brother Charles Watkins (Mary) of Laurel, MD and her sister Laura Kelly (Richard) of Greensboro, NC. She leaves to celebrate her life, her children Rachel Greenwood, Thomas Greenwood (Sheila), La Shaira Fullwood, Zaire Price, Zura Martino, Walter Kelliehan III, and Kimberlee Kelliehan. “Dina” adored her nieces: Madeline (Alia), Erin, Brittany, Yvette, Tobey; nephews: Jesse, Brian, Sean; grand-children: Kecia, Kenneth (III), Ryan (RJ), Brittany, Jordan, Darryl (DJ), Jasmine, Denene, Tyberius, Xzonna, Jamar, Kehal, Zamya, Jayden, Valeria, Anayah, Terrance (TJ), Elijah, Justin, Jayden; and great-grand-children: Heaven, Elijah, Kai, Gabriel, Kaiden, A’Leah, Anyla, Bella, Mariah, Blaine, and Asia. She worked many years in the Financial Services Industry and retired in October 2010 from UBS. She will be missed by her sisters of the heart Donna Tucker Jones, Eloise Hudspeth, Eura Allen, Joann Forzley Hefner, Karen Cline, Kathy Martinez, Linda Allen, Mary Jane Paige, Miriam “Mitzi” Henson, Olga Rivera, and Pamela VonCannon, Suzanne Hopkins, Victoria Snider and countless others whom she loved. To our family on Empire Woods Court: The Arneys, The Awasthis, The Brocks, The Dattas, The Hanlines, The Homkas, The Katutis’, The Kenneys, The Krantzs, The Lunds, and The Tagues, we express our love and appreciation wholeheartedly. We thank you for your continuous and unending love and support for our family. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 6, 2020 at Douthit Funeral Services. Family visitation will begin at 11am with service following at 12pm. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Kelliehan may be viewed Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 2pm-6pm at Douthit Funeral Services.
