    Mrs. Elaine Foster

    September 6, 1960 - March 8, 2022

    Elaine Denise Kapp Foster was born September 6, 1960, at Kate Bidding Hospital. On March 8, 2022, Elaine quietly passed away. She was a lifelong resident of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Elaine was educated in the Forsyth County School System. After graduating in 1978 from Parkland High School, She continued her education at Rutledge College. She was a faithful employee of Integon Insurance /GMAC. She was a lifelong member of Grace Presbyterian Church, where she participated in various activities. Elaine displayed an unwavering faith to God throughout her entire life, displaying a cheerful, positive attitude. Elaine was always active in her family. Elaine and Charles were fundamental in initiating family gatherings. Everything from tulip picking, Hot Air Balloon Festivals to seasonal fruit picking. She loved the Arts and The Theater, attending many plays and shows. She was an extremely creative crafts person, decorating their home with seasonal crafts like wreaths and tablespaces. Her parents, Leonard and Elizabeth Kapp, preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 31 years, Charles G Foster Jr and their beloved son, Charles G Foster III (Tre) and his Fiancé (Sh’Quila Carraway) of Charlotte, NC. Also embracing her memory will be (3 brothers) Leonard A Kapp of Lexington, NC., Anthony M Kapp of Los Angeles, California, Steve B Kapp (Alexis), and ( 5 sisters), Augean Thomas (deceased, Marvin), Vannessa Thompson (Eugene), Beuancha Jeffries (Charles) of Snellville, Georgia, Sharon Macklin, and Debbie Baskins (Wayne). Two affectionate brother-in laws, Andre’ Foster (Lisa) and Ronald Foster. A great number of nieces, nephews and family member will fondly miss her. A public viewing will be Tuesday March 15, 2022, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be Wednesday March 16, 2022 at 1pm from Grace Presbyterian Church. Family will receive friend at 12:30pm at the church. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Service.
