Ms. Frances Mae Marshall

December 21, 1956 - April 22, 2022

FRANCES MAE MARSHALL passed away on April 22, 2022, at the age of 65 after a battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Frances was born on December 21, 1956, to Willie and Eva Jane Marshall in Winston Salem. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Willie Herbert Marshall. Frances graduated from Parkland high School, after which she started at McDonalds as a Manager. She proceeded on to work at Forsyth Country Club in the catering field. Her last job was working for the Winston Salem Forsyth County School System in the cafeteria. She enjoyed cooking and baking pound cakes for the family. She loved bargain shopping, nurturing her plants, going out to eat and shopping with her devoted friends. Frances loved her son and her grandchildren. She also loved watching wrestling on Monday and Thursday night. Frances leaves behind her devoted son Gregory A. McCall (Monica McCall), brother Willie T. Marshall (Demetria Marshall) and sister Sandra Marshall (Cletis). Her granddaughters, Khadijah McCall, Clarice Simmons (Trevon Simmons). Her beautiful grandchildren Zahquay Cunningham, King Simmons, Khelani Simmons, Kyrie Simmons, Maya Carter, and Quez Carter Jr. Also, niece Mary Marshall, nephew Christopher Marshall and devoted friend Russell Jenkins along with many others. A public viewing will be held Friday April 29, 2022, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Saturday April 30, 2022 at 11:00am from Great Commission Community Church. The family will receive friends at 10:30am. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
