Ms. Sandra D. Camel

Sandra Dee Camel, 60, of Winston-Salem, NC departed this life on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at her home. She was born October 12, 1961, to Mr. Michael Z. Johnson and the late Frances S. Johnson. She was a graduate of East Forsyth High School. San, as many called her, worked for A Cleaner World Laundry Services until her health began to fail. She was proceeded in death by her son Monroe Partlow, husband, Julius Camel, and two Brother-in-laws, Gregory Smith and Joseph Rivers. She leaves to cherish her memories, her father Michael Z. Johnson, one son, Michael K. Johnson (Brandie), two daughters, Levonya Mitchell (Jayvon), and Frances Partlow all of Winston-Salem, NC. Four granddaughters, MeKiyah Johnson, Jade and Jayla Mitchell, all of Winston-Salem, NC. A granddaughter she raised as her own, Nahjae Caffee, of Norfolk, VA. Four sisters Mary Donald (Chester) of Cary, NC, Patricia Smith, of Walkertown, NC, Wanda Rivers, of Kernersville, NC and Angela Brooks, Winston-Salem, NC. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, & friends. A public viewing will be held Tuesday February 15, 2022, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. A funeral service will be held Wednesday February 16, at 1pm from Douthit's. Family will receive friends at 12:30pm at Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
