In loving Memory For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.” ( 2 Corinthians 5:1)Ms. Virginia Nance Wilson went home to be with Lord on Nov.25,2020 she departed her life peacefully in Forsyth Memorial Hospital. She was born in Dillon, South Carolina to Mr.& Mrs. Marvin and Inez Nance. She graduated from Columbus High School, Lake view, South Carolina and she retired from RJ Reynolds in 1999.She was a faithful of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church until her health fell. She was active member in Sunday School, Usher Board, youth dept. and FCMU. The President of Forever Saving Club, Dutiful Ladies and Love and Ladies of Excellence (RHS).She was preceded by her parents Mr. & Mrs Marvin Nance, her husband Leroy Wilson, and brother Marvin Nance Jr. ,sister Christine Wilson a, grand daughter Alicia Cowin, anda niece Connie Pullman. She leaves to cherish two daughters Carolyn Thompson of the home, Trellis Wilson Lilburn, Ga. Grand kids: Natasha (Benny) Williams, Roger Thompson Jr. both of Winston-Salem, NC. Carlin Co Wins- Richtrellis Griffin, Michelle Co Wins and Gary Gamble Jr. all from Lilburn, Ga.2 Sisters Marilyn Ross of Beach Park , Ill, Elva Cato of Mableton, Ga, and one brother Vernie (Katrina) Nance of Columbia, SC. Great Grand kids: Sha’Nai and Shar”dai Thompson of WS, Alexis Burnett, Aarissa ,Aaron andAdrives Cowins and 7 great great grands and a host of other relatives and friends. A public viewing will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will take place Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 1pm from St. Stephens Baptist Church and Entombment will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
