Obituary

Alvin David Eaton was born to Henry Raymond Eaton and Alver Crone lkFord Eaton on February 18, 1937 in Winston-Salem, NC whom both preceded him. His sister Ruth Ford Brock, Brother's Robert Ford and Stanley Vance also preceded by Alvins transition.
Alvin graduated in 1955 for Carver Consolidated High School, currently named Carver High School. He worked for Walkers Cleaners as a Presser. Alvin also worked for RJ Reynolds as a machine operator for more than 30yrs. He enjoyed sports. His favorite football team is the Pittsburg Steelers. He worked at Bowmen Gray stadium as a Pit Crew assistant and drove a courtesy van for a local auto auction company. Alvin loved to travel as he spent a life full of love, and kindness. He was a Brother, Dad, Uncle and friend to many.
He is survived by his brother Henry Lee Eaton, (Sons): Daryll T. Eaton, Sr., Alvin D. Eaton, Jr., Terry Eaton, Chris Carter, (Daughters): Teisha Douglas, Sherry Eaton, (Daughter In Law): Pamela Eaton, (Son In Law): Maurice Douglas, (Grand Daughter In Law): Carmen Eaton, (Grand Children): Daryll T. Eaton, Jr., Joy Lacy, Allivia Eaton, Micah Douglas, Jeremiah Douglas,(Great Grand Children): Arianna Eaton, Jeremiah Eaton, Micah Eaton, Alivia Bridges, Courtland Bridges. And many other nieces and nephews. A public viewing will be held Wednesday Marcg 26, 2025 from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Thursday March 27, 2025, at 11:00 am from Carver Road Church of Christ and interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at 10:30 am. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
