Andre Lavon Foster, 62 of Winston-Salem, NC passed on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center surrounding by his family. Andre heard Our Heavenly Father's voice with a smile on his face and his hands raised to receive him into the Kingdom of Heaven. Andre was born May 24, 1962, to the late Charles Foster Sr. and Blondean S. Foster in Mocksville, NC.

Andre was a graduate of East Forsyth High School Class of 1980. He attended NC A&T University. Andre married Lisa Foster August 16, 2003. He loved her with all his heart. They shared 23 years together with God's Blessings. Andre was employed at Collins Aerospace. He had a passion of love for his many dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Blondean Foster, his stepson Stephan McMillian, and his grandson Andre Major Taylor.

He is survived by his devoted loving wife Lisa Foster. His daughters Andrea Foster, Devita Foster, and Porscha McMillian of Winston-Salem, NC. His brothers Charles (Chuck) Foster Jr of Winston-Salem, NC, and Ronald Foster of Salisbury, NC. (21) Grandchildren. A host of Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Nieces, Sister in Laws, Brother in Laws, Cousins, and Friends. A public viewing will be held Thursday December 12, 2024, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Friday December 13, 2024, at 12pm from Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at 11:30 am. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
