Annie "Ruth" Brock was born August 15th 1931 in Davie County to the late Leonard and Claire Revels. She departed this life on March 4, 2022 while surrounded by her loved ones.

Ruth spent most of her life as a homemaker; taking care of her family and teaching people how to love one another. Later in life that love was returned by caregivers Wendy Brock, Tony Rivera and other family members. Ruth was a sweet and loving person who always wanted the best for everyone. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and a friend to many.

Ruth was preceded in death by daughter Shirley Redmond; granddaughter Michelle Mason; Sister Hazel Long; Brother Luther Revels, Bobby Revels, and John "Ford" Revels.

Ruth leaves to cherish with loving memories: Husband of the home William K. Brock; two daughters Hazel (Simon) Rivera and Kennen Brock (all of Mocksville); God Daughter Shannon (Romero) Fair of Lewisville; Brother Richard (Essie) Revels of Booneville; Sister Goldie (Windell) Smith; Sister-in-law Rosalee Lenoard, Brother-in-law Bishop James (Josephine) Ijames (all of Mocksville). Also Grandchildren; Wendy (Terrance) Brock-Davis, Antonio Rivera, Gary Redmond, Michael Mason and Telisha Horne (all of Mocksville). God Granddaughter Tysheel (Curtis) Lee of Lexington. Thirteen Great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Special Thank you to Dewayne (Tink) Lackey for his daily commitment and concerns in regards to Annie "Ruth" Brock A public viewing will be held Wednesday March 9, 2022, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral Services will be held Thursday March 10, 2022, at 1:00pm from Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Mocksville and interment will follow in church cemetery. Family will receive friends at 12pm.Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Service.
