Annie Lee McCormick peacefully passed away surround by family on Saturday August 29, 2020 at Trinity Glen Nursing Facility. She was born on January 26, 1937 in Fairmont, NC to the late Augustus Sr. and Oneal McCormick. She went on to marry Julius Baker and is survived by their nine children. Terry Baker of Columbus, OH; Timothy Baker(Stephanie) of Columbus, OH; Edwin Baker(Connie) of Atlanta, GA; Melvin Baker (Trixie) of Winston Salem, NC; Ricky Baker(Shirley) of Winston Salem, NC; Cathy Coker (Willie) of Winston Salem NC; Larry Baker (Pamela) of Winston, NC; Carol Wilson of Winston Salem, NC; and Michelle Baker of Winston Salem NC. Annie Lee is preceded in death by her parents Augustus Sr and O'neal McCormick; siblings Leander, Betty, Joyce, Angela, Augustus Jr, Tamra, Robert Earl and Ava Grace; great grandchildren Heaven-Imani and Justin Mason-Baker. She is survived by one sister, Bertha M. Oates of Fayetteville, NC as well as 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A public viewing will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2020 from 2pm until 5pm at Douthit's. A private funeral will be held Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Douthit.
