Arturo Zivic Kinzer Jr. was born February 24,1964 in Albany, GA to Pastor Arturo Zivic Kinzer Sr. and Evangelist Betty Jenkins-Kinzer. He peacefully transitioned on January 20,2025 at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC.
Arturo Jr graduated from high school in Tacoma, WA. His father, Pastor Arturo Sr retired from the military in 1981 and moved his family back to their hometown of Winston Salem, NC. Arturo Jr started working at UPS and remained an employee until he retired after 35 years.
Arturo Jr leaves memories to be cherished by his Mother and Father, 2 brothers Jerry, Damonne and a sister Angel Kinzer, 3 nieces Erica and Makayla Kinzer of Winston Salem, NC, Viqueetra Kinzer of Grapevine, TX, 2 nephews Rajon and D'Angelo Kinzer of Winston Salem, NC, 2 aunts Pecolia Cuthrell and Mathenia(Kitty)Douthit of Winston Salem, NC, 2 uncles Lazzeri Kinzer of Winston Salem, NC and Bill Jenkins of the Bronx, NY and a host of extended family and friends.
Arturo Jr was a go getter, self-sufficient and loved his family and friends. He will forever be cherished in our hearts.
A public viewing will be held Friday January 31, 2025, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Saturday February 1, 2025, at 11:30 am from Solid Rock United Bible Way Ministries. The family will receive friends at 11:00am. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Service.
