Mrs. Brenda Lee Bohannon Perry PauPaw, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. Brenda was born to the late Charlie Robert Miller and Minnie Lee Bohannon on April 13, 1947. Mrs. PauPaw was a resident in Boston, Massachusetts for many years. In the early 80s, she returned to Winston-Salem to be closer to family and friends.



She always provided support and love for her family. She was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the usher board for many years, as well as in other capacities. She is preceded in death by her husband (Frederick Eugene PauPaw) whom she was married to for over 50+ years. Brenda is also survived by her daughter, Deborah Perry, and sons Charles Perry (Johnetta Perry), and Darren Perry as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunt (Clesta Barren), and other relatives.



A public viewing will be held January 20, 2023, from 1pm – 1:30pm following a private service in the Chapel. Final resting place will be at Piedmont Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
