Bryant Nathan Hardy 59 of Winston Salem, NC entered eternal rest unexpectedly September 18, 2024, at his home. He was born January 9, 1965, to the late Mr. Lewis Scott and Ms. Mattie Hardy in Winston Salem, NC.



Bryant Nathan Hardy was educated in W-S/Forsyth County School System graduating from RJ Reynolds class of 1984 and was employed with Christ Rescue Temple (CRT) for over 15 years and his latest employment Walmart. He was baptized and received his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ November 1972 while attending Mars Hill Missionary Baptist Church with his grandmother, the late Mrs. Annie Bell Hardy (Momma), whom was a major contributor to his life development. At an early age Bryant loved attending church and didn't mind praising the Lord with Momma. At an early age one of his hobbies was swimming – He loved swimming and was noticed by the lifeguards due to his ability to speedily complete laps – He was requested to join the swim team for kids.



He was preceded in death by her grandparents, William Hardy, Annie Bell Hardy, and parental grandmother Ada Scott. Uncle, William F. Hardy; aunts, Annie Hardy (Russell) Davis, Iveria Hardy-Shuler and Lillie Mae Allen. Also, several close cousins William (Pinky) Hardy, Vanessa Hardy Westmoreland and Johnny Hardy.



Bryant leaves to cherish his memories two children Kwanita Bishop and Bryant Hardy, Jr. his mother Ms. Mattie Hardy. Three grandchildren Serenidy Bishop, Seriyah Bishop and Sencere Watson; siblings Calvin Hardy, Melissa Jones, Norman Jones and Lewis Scott all of Winston Salem, NC. Devoted Friend and mother of his children Princess Bishop.



Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, September 26, 2024, at the Douthit Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Terry L Young officiating. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Thursday at the Chapel Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
