Charles Aaron Brown the son of the late Edward Brown and Voohrees Brown on February 21st,1955 in Winston Salem NC. He gained his wings to be with the lord on March 19th, 2025.
He received his academic education in the Winston Salem Forsyth County School System where he graduated from North Forsyth High School in 1974, he also went to school in New York. He was employed at KFC and the school of arts, and he was also self-employed doing hair. He was very loved and will be truly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Voohrees Brown. His brothers Edward Brown Jr and Willie Brown. Sisters Margaret Mitchell, Helen Caesar. A couple nieces and
nephews. Special friend Josephine Mcdonald. Charles leaves to cherish his memories with his
daughter Chareesta Handy of Winston Salem One stepdaughter Twakena Handy; Three grandkids Chakena Handy, Dejunte Moore, Dion Handy. One great great daughter Zyriana Williams. Two sisters May Wilks, Martha Wilson. One brother-in-law Willie Smith Sr. A host of nieces and nephews,
cousins, and family and friends. We would like to thank the Amedisys Hospice and Nurse Bobbie. A public viewing will be held Friday March 28, 2025, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Saturday March 29, 2025, at 11:00am from Douthit's. The family will receive friends at 10:30am. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
