Mr. Charles Jeremiah Scott was born July 4, 1948 to the late James Edward Scott Sr. and Louise Scott. He transitioned October 22, 2022, at Universal Health Care of King after a short period of illness. Charles was preceded by his brother, James Edward Scott Jr and sister, Helen Ashe.

Charles graduated from Paisley High School and worked many years for RJR Archer. He was definitely a free spirit who enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends. He often prepared meals to share with his neighbors.

Charles leaves behind his genetic footprints, his children. He always said each bears a resemblance to him; devoted daughter and primary caregiver Chariss (Toddrick) Leak, other daughters Karla (Randy) Brown and Yasmeen Scott; his sons Charles (Marilu) Scott, Joel Scott and Jamar Nicholson. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Annesia Scott, Destiny Scott, Ti'ana Scott. Ramel Scott, and J'mour Nicholson, Jordan Brown, Cameron Brown and Christian Brown: one great grandson Amari Gilbert.

He is also survived by a loving and supportive sister, Phyllis Scott, niece, Toni (Ben) Bradshaw and wife Zahra Davis-Scott. along with a host of nieces' nephews and cousins. A public viewing will be held Monday October 31, 2022, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Tuesday November 1, 2022, at 12:30pm from Douthit's. the family will receive friends at 12pm. Arrangement are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services
