Darren Keith Green also known as "Hollywood" was called to he's Heavenly home Thursday morning, October 22,2020, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. He's final days were spent surrounded by family. Mr. Green was born September 4, 1958 to Jackie and Dorothy G. Davis in Hartford, CT. Darren was a resident of Winston-Salem, NC for the remaining of his life. Darren graduated from East Forsyth High. He was a member of Ambassador Cathedral Church where he was an original Cherub Choir member as an adolescent and continued is Christian faith worship at St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church. He truly lived up to his nickname "Hollywood". He loved to get dressed up and celebrate life. He's favorite sayings were, "If you don't know, you better ask somebody and Hollywood, Holly Want. Uncle Keith brought laughter and smiles everywhere he went. He was truly the life of the party. His faith in the Lord was very strong. He's preceded in death by his grandmother Pauline Moore, mother Dorothy G. Davis, his sisters Diane P. Green, Jacqueline Davis, and brother Lavern Green and his
aunts Lelia Edgefield, Rebecca Felton, Elizabeth W. Dawson and uncle
Woodrow Wilson, cousins Eddie, Edwina Green, Nina, Woody, Demetrus,
Willie ,and Herman. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Dorothy Green, sisters Roberta Green of Smithfield, NC, Constance Green of NC, brother George and niece's Samantha and Faith Green of W-S, NC, Amanda Manning, Joelinda Burchette, Michelle Manning, nephews Antoine Green of Hartford CT, Brian Jr. of Columbus OH, Briannon, Briannardo Johnson of Charlotte NC and cousins Michelle, Michael, Latoria, Shequilla Jackson, Eddie , Lashaunta, and Tyrone Green, Edie and Mike Walker and great nieces and nephews Nyazia, N'Shiyah Greene, Rasheed, Shawn, K.J, Iyonna, Zariyah,Monique, Mikeal, Dominique, Nazzaria, Akilah, Perrion and a host of other relatives and many friends. A public viewing be held today October 27, 2020 from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. A private funeral will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2020. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
