Mrs. Debra Marlene Little Stimpson, at the age of 64, passed away peacefully at her home in Pfafftown, NC on February 2, 2024. She was born June 10, 1959, in Forsyth County to Nathaniel and Shirley Little, she was the youngest daughter of their six children. Debra was a kind and loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She had a great love for family gatherings, enjoyed dancing, and was known for her talent in cooking, and sense of humor. She was also a great caretaker of many, always putting others before herself. Debra had a strong fashion sense and style.
Debra married Joseph I. Stimpson, and from that union, they had one daughter Kyla. Debra was preceded in death by her mother Mrs. Shirley Little, loved and devoted mother-in-law "Nannie" Kate L. Stimpson, brother-in-law Mr. Frankie Cutler and sister-in-law Mrs. Beverly Little, and friend Paula Collins
Debra's cherished memories will be deeply missed by her husband Joseph Stimpson, son Bobby Ray Moody, daughter Kyla Elizabeth Stimpson, step-son Michael Dobson (Glynis), father Nathaniel Little Sr. (Rebecca), siblings Linda Cutler, Sharon Johnson (Milton), Sandra Ballentine (Bruce), Nathaniel Little Jr., Tyrone Little (Andrea), and grandchildren; Nore'on Moody, Camden Dobson, and Ila Dobson and a host of nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, all other family members, and devoted friends Cynthia Scurry, Pamela Alexander, Mary Devlin.
The family of Mrs. Debra Stimpson wishes to express their deep appreciation and sincere thanks to the Medi Hospice Team and special thanks to Ella Thompson for the loving care they provided for Debra.
A public viewing will be held Monday February 12, 2024, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 13, 2024, at 12pm from Douthit's and interment will follow Wednesday February 14, at 10 a.m. from Salisbury National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 11:30 a.m.
