Demetris Ann Fulwood was born August 1, 1962, to the late Rev. Dr. James Fulwood and Mrs. Hattie Easter Fulwood. She was a graduate of Parkland High School, where she was a Dixie Deb and the Homecoming Queen of class of 1980. Demetris retired from US Airways, then pursued her career as a Licensed Esthetician; she was the owner and operator of The Perfect Touch Day Spa & Salon. She was known by her friends as Ms. De and her favorite saying was "Honey Bye". She was survived by her mother Hattie E. Fulwood, her sister Fayelene Fulwood and her niece/godchild Whitney Fulwood. She also was a great aunt to Zaree, Zamari, James and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and devoted friends that truly loved her. She will be missed, especially her beautiful smile. A memorial service will be held Saturday July 8, 2023, at 12pm from St. Mark Baptist Church. There will be no public viewing. Arrangements are in the care Douthit Funeral Service.
