Donnell DeJuan Julius, known as Julius, was born September 26, 1964 in Winston-Salem, NC, to Marshall McDuffie and Carolyn Johnson. He departed this earthly life, November 18, 2021. He attended the public schools of Winston-Salem and was a graduate of East Forsyth Senior High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army. He served as an Equipment Records/Parts Specialist. He achieved an Army Service Ribbon. And Expert Badges for Air Assault and a M-16 Rifle Sharpshooter. He was employed by Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center. He was an avid sports fan. His favorite team was the "Carolina Panthers". He was a member of Lexington Christian Fellowship in Lexington N.C. Where he served as a Trustee. He was preceded in death by his He leaves to cherish his memory: His parents, Marshall and Priscilla McDuffie, Four sons, Jaron, Donnell II, Dominique (Daniela), and DeVyne. Two daughters, Ryane, and Aryanna (James). Five brothers, Reginald, Timothy, Allen, Ronald and Jawara. Two sisters, Chontelle and Ayesha. Alisa Parks, a Life Partner and Eugene Fulton, a dedicated cousin. Donnell was very outgoing, hospitable, high-spirited, and comical. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 30,2021 at 12:00pm from Galilee Missionary Baptist Church and interment will follow Wednesday morning in Salisbury National Cemetery. There will be a public viewing Monday, November 29, 2021 from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
