Edgar Narvell Johnson took flight to be with the Lord on Apr 29 2024. He was born in Forsyth County to Edward Johnson(father) and Alice Macky(mother). He Graduated from Atkinson High school. He Also Attended WSSU. Edgar was enlisted into the U.S Army where he served a year and a half and was honorably discharge. Edgar Narvel Johnson retired from Superior where he dedicated 28 years of his service as a certified Welder.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Mother, 2 sisters and Brother. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his Wife (Plushie Johnson), 8 Children, 16 Grandchildren, 24 great Grandchildren and 2 great great grand… 1 Sister Betsy Gray 1 devoted Sister in-law (Sandra Cunningham and 1 brother in-law ( Bobby Cunningham). And a host of Nieces and nephews.

, and other family relatives and friends who were dear to his heart. A public viewing will be held Thursday May 2, 2024, from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Friday May 3, 2024, at 12pm from Rising Ebenezer Baptist, the family will receive friends at 11:30 at the church. Interment will take place Tuesday May 7, 2024, at 10:00 am in Salisbury National Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
