Eric Patrick Clark, 42, was born on June 25, 1978 in Battle Creek,
Michigan to Jimmy Truehart and Patricia Clark. He departed this life
peacefully on May 13, 2021. Eric attended school within the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County school system. He graduated from R. J. Reynolds High School in 1996. Eric was employed at Hayward Industries for well over 20
years. He was very outgoing and confident with a sharp sense of humor and love for laughter. Eric was also an aspiring actor whose
voice imitations, skits, and singing will always be remembered.
Many people recall how Eric never met a stranger. He would make
anyone feel like the most important person in his life. Always a
phone call away, Eric could be counted on for help or advice. His
light continues to shine on all those who were blessed to know him as
family or friend. Eric leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Patricia Clark (Gerald); his loving father Jimmy Trueheart; his precious daughter, Arieana Cannady (Nakesha Cannady); his brothers, Gary Flowers,
Verdell Trueheart, and Gregory Clark; his sisters, Alisia Spruill (John
Bell), Sheila Trueheart, Tracey Spencer, and Tanzania Clark; plus
countless nieces, nephews, and cousins from all over. A public viewing will be held Monday, May 24, 2021 from 1pm until 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2021at 1pm from the Fellowship Church 2800 Sprague Street. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services. The funeral service will be a private ceremony on Tuesday, May 26, 2021, at 1 p.m. However, anyone may attend virtually by live stream via the Zoom link https://us02web.zoom.us/j/3135719694 .
