Eric is beloved by all who knew him, and those who knew him loved him BEST! Eric passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Eric was born on December 11, 1976, to Leroy and Lillie B. Nelson. Eric was a 1995 graduate from Robert Glenn High School, Eric continued his
education and in 2001 he received his Bachelor of Business Administration (Cum laude) from Winston-Salem State University. Eric was a lifelong member of Carver Road Church of Christ, and he cherished his
church family. Eric was preceded in passing by his father Leroy Nelson, and brother Edwin
Lamont Nelson. Eric leaves behind many happy memories for a loving and devoted family, his wife
Tamika G. Nelson, two sons Eric Isaiah Nelson and Nikolas Josiah Nelson, his mother Lillie B. Nelson, two brothers Michael (Cindale) Nelson and Jeffrey Nelson, his grandmothers Lessie Williams and Sadie McQueen, his mother‐in‐law Carsenia Carpenter, his father‐in‐law Victor (Jackie) Fuller, and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends. .A memorial service will be held Friday November 29, 2024, at 12pm from Carver Road Church of Christ. There will be no public viewing. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Services.
