Eugene Gilliard passed away peacefully Tuesday March 7, 2023, at his home. He was born in Charleston, SC to the late Anna Wilder.

He was a member of Antioch Christian church. He was a member of the male chorus.

He leaves to cherish his memories; Two sons George Gilliard and Nick Gilliard. One daughter Terri Wardlow. One sister, Daisy Chavis. His grandchildren, Lifelong friends Thomas Dale Smalls, Patricia Jacobs, Taji Jacobs and Travis Mills. A host of nieces and nephews' other relatives and friends. A public viewing will be held Wednesday March 15, 2023, from 1pm util 5pm at Douthit's. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 10am from Antioch Christain Church and interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are in the care of Douthit Funeral Service.
