Mr. Everett Ravon Revels Sr. was born April 16, 1963 in Winston-Salem, NC. to Everett Shavers Revels (deceased) and Rose Marie Barksdale. Everett, who was affectionately known as Ravon was full of life and had so much love to give. Ravon never met a stranger.
On May 7, 2020, God dispatched a host of angels to go and bring his servant home, as he quietly slipped into eternal rest.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories two daughters, Enicia Clarke, Rajean Revels and one son, Everett Ravon Revels Jr; His Mother, Rose Marie Barksdale; Seven grandchildren – Jeremiah Jackson, Za'Myria Clarke, Avagail Revels, Nehemiah Revels, Zechariah Carr, Gabrielle Revels and Antwain Pledger Jr.
Also left to cherish his memories are three brothers; Everett Bernard Williams, Vincent Davis, Walter Lorenza Bethea and a predeceased brother, Joel Bethea; four sisters; Deidra Revels, Evette Revels, Karen Patterson, Rev. Beverly McMillian; four nieces Tuajuana L. Smoot-Hairston, Lorin Revels, Shakura Revels, and Jayla Revels. He also had five great nieces, Kayla N. Smoot, She'mira N. Smoot-Hairston, Niah S. Smoot-Hairston, Sanaa Revels, Lovella King; three great nephews, Vester King, Jr., Kason Samuels, Jr, Lorenz Joel King. Along with a host of other loving relatives and caring friends.
A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 13,2020 from 2pm until 5pm at Douthit's. A private funeral service will take place Thursday, May 14, 2020.
